Job Description
Fidelity Personal Investing – Client Solutions Technology Chapter Area is looking for a passionate Systems Analyst to build and support world-class products for its Planning and Advice Platform tribe. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment.
The Purpose
As a Systems Analyst on the squad, you will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our web applications and will work with the squad to deliver best in class customer experience solutions. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles. You will partner with other members on the squad to accelerate value delivery, by acting as a change agent, role model, and teacher. You will assist the Product Owner with requirement gathering and story writing and participate in a wider Scrum of Scrums to help influence best practices at a tribe level.
The Expertise You Have
- 8+ years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
- Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira, AgileCraft experience desirable
- Excellent systems analysis skills
- Proven experience developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
- Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general
- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs
- Proven experience with Agile development methodologies
- Proven experience working and coordinating with multiple squads
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related technology discipline

- Your knowledge of technical solutions and back-end systems

- Reduce requirements and design risk and resulting costs associated with rework and redesign
