We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on software engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. You’ll play a key role in designing and building scalable, production-grade systems that help organisations reduce energy waste and carbon emissions. This isn’t just about writing code — it’s about shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering real impact through technology.

The opportunity

You’ll work across the stack to build software that powers energy monitoring, analysis, and optimisation for clients across the UAE and beyond. You’ll help shape technology choices, drive quality across the codebase, and build features that scale reliably in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives in a collaborative team.

What exactly will you do?

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product leads to build reliable, full-stack applications with meaningful real-world impact.
• Write clean, well-structured code across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing independently and supporting junior developers where needed.
• Test your work rigorously, resolve bugs efficiently, and help raise the bar for performance, security, and code quality.
• Take initiative in exploring and recommending modern technologies and frameworks that enhance our platform.
• Design and develop microservices and APIs that connect seamlessly with IoT devices, data pipelines, and external AI systems.
• Build internal tools and services that improve development workflows and elevate the customer experience.
• Play an active role in planning, peer reviews, and technical discussions, while developing leadership skills in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
  
  

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience building and deploying full-stack applications in a production environment.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with frameworks like Node.js, React.js or Vue.js.
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying scalable systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Elasticsearch.
• Solid understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and system integration.
• Passionate about writing clean, secure, maintainable code and following modern DevOps practices.
• Bonus: Knowledge or interest in the energy sector, IoT, or real-time data systems.
