Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist, Procurement Located in Jeddah, KSA
Job purpose
Ensures services and /materials are procured at the lowest possible, while maintaining
compliance to procurement and SHE policy and procedures and to meet the specific needs of
the business. Evaluates bids/quotations to determine optimum value and to gain alignment from key stakeholders. Perform post order follow up and ensure timely delivery.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation, processing and compilation of requests for proposal (RFPs) to invite suppliers to submit proposals in line with internal customer requirements
- Review bids from Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and jointly with end user departments conduct analysis and make initial recommendations for appropriate spend level as applicable
- Post order follow ups and ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in cost saving initiatives to ensure overall departmental efficiency is achieved
- Provide guidance to end user departments/technical teams for the technical evaluation of bids in line with the scope and requirements.
- Provide analytical support through the analysis of data relating to market trends, vendor and supply management, procurement status and activities
Qualification And Requirements
- Degree with 1-3+ Years of experience as Procurement specialist or Diploma with 3 years of experience as Procurement specialist.
- Strong Negotiation Skills, Analytical Skills
- Supplier Management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills i
