Job Description
- Understand business objectives and carry out market research to identify potential products\services for strategic growth.
- Work with Sales, marketing & Industrial growth team, identify opportunities and carry out market assessment combined with feasibility study and commercial due diligence.
- Prepare a comprehensive specific market research plan with milestones, time & task and present to management the progress on frequent basis.
- Perform valid and reliable market research including SWOT analysis.
- Carry out quantitative or qualitative research.
- Design specific research methods such as questionnaires and carry out field surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences and market needs.
- Conducting in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods
- Analyze and interpret data to identify solutions and recommend to management the results.
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and generate growth opportunities, strategic assessment, financial feasibility & Go to market plans for management evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- 7 - 10 years' experience in Marketing, Business development and\or Market research, and Analysis. 5-7 years in Industrial\Manufacturing sector preferred.
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Expertise with MS Office, and statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), CRM programs
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining
- Willing to travel within Saudi Arabia for field surveys & customer\market visits.
