Job Description

Location:

Office 01, Al Tunaiji Building, Al Yarmouk, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

  • Manage all pre-installation works :
  • Ensure availability of adequate and firsthand information of contractual scope of works and deliveries.
  • Follow up on material deliveries in conjunction with factory and supply chain
  • Monitor shaft readiness and ensure shafts dimensions are as per approved shop drawings
  • Ensure adequate resources planning to meet project’s contractual requirements.
  • Request purchase order for Sub contactors and local materials in conjunction with Project Manager and supply chain
  • Coordination with main contractors, architects, and consultant teams on the projects requirement:
  • Shop drawings, Technical submittal ,Material sample, Method statement & Inspection and Test Plan approval
  • Plan and arrange Logistic programme for safe and timely deliveries of Escalators and elevator material inside the building premises
  • Submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports to main contractor ( as applicable according to project requirement)
  • Attend weekly/Bi weekly meetings with MC
  • Carry out Technical co-ordination and planning to interface elevators with Low Voltage devices
  • Installation Phase:
  • Ensure Adequate resources are available.
  • Raise Material Inspection Request upon deliveries of materials and assure timely approval
  • Ensue proper communication/letters/ records keeping with the MC in conjunction with Project Manager pertaining to all aspects of the project
  • Follow up of installation progress through MS Projects, Primavera or excel spread sheet as required.
  • Plan risk assessment prior to hoisting and rigging and other critical activities
  • Conduct TBT/FPA and ensure all other safety aspects are adhered to as per company’s laid down safety procedures
  • Follow installation progress through MS Projects, Primavera or excel spread sheet as required
  • Raise Trouble reports for any missing, short shipped , defective materials and follow up their deliveries
  • Advice /Support installation teams for any installation related issues
  • Ensure installation manuals, Engineering drawings , approved shop drawings are available at all times
  • Coordination with supply chain to ensure local materials are ordered and available on a timely manner
  • Ensure in stage QA/QC are carried out as per company’s laid down procedures
  • Ensure T&C plan and availability of adjustors to meet project’s deadline
  • Ensure timely readiness of Construction time usage as per project’s requirement
  • Ensure completion of Low voltage interfaces to elevator systems on a timely manner
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly Interim payment applications and follow up payments
  • Carry out Third party inspections as required
  • Handover the units to customers in line with Company’s policy and project’s requirement
  • Coordination with internal supporting departments (local engineering team, factory team, supply chain, finance) on all relevant areas to fulfill project deliveries.
  • Manage and responsible for the projects budget; including preparation and presentation of cost review to finance and management team

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • UAE Nationals preferred
