Job Description
Education Team actively contributes to the sustainable development of the world's most ambitious and exciting tourism and hospitality project through creating and overseeing high-quality educational systems and programs which are not only a crucial strategic goal for the project, but also a substantial pipeline of qualified Saudi talents, and leaders for Saudi Arabia’s tourism and hospitality promising sector and other supporting sectors.
Education team plays an important role in orchestrating all TRSDC educational affairs.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in creating and developing unique high-quality scholarships programs in an excellent global educational environment where smart education for sustainable development is embraced.
· Support the education team in all management aspects of the TRSDC education efforts, systems, programs and initiatives
· Support in Initiating and implementing multiple top-tier educational services and scholarship programs within the educational projects portfolio which serves TRSDC strategic goals
· Support in managing and overseeing all TRSDC’s scholarship programs (in kingdom and OOK) such as UPM, MoE, MoT.
· Serve as point of contact of guidance, advice, and support for all scholarships students; convey information and issues as appropriate; maintain regular communication with students and education providers in support of providing a positive supportive environment for TRSDC students; enter relevant student interactions in the database.
· Participate in studying and reviewing best practice, standers and systems worldwide in higher education then adapt what serve the project and its stakeholders’ best interest. Benchmark with appropriate external and internal reference organizations with the view to achieving best practice and optimizing the quality of TRSDC education’s programs, policies, and procedures
· Support in analyzing TRSDC educational needs to support the business with all their strategic requirements
· Identify and design the best educational programs needed for TRSDC based on the conducted analysis and evaluation
· Develop, interpret, and revise policies and procedures, track internal and external trends in student affairs, and prepare projections for future needs
· Support in managing stakeholder’s relation including establishing networking, collaboration, and relationships with prospective partners who are experts and qualified to deliver the best educational programs (internships, vocational training, engagement programs or scholarship)
· Help Identifying the targeted potential students/trainees (age, region, previous education and experience if any) and measure their competencies and language proficiencies before accepting them in TRSDC scholarships programs to ensure selecting the top local talents
· Support in executing the selected processes of candidates’ qualification and enrollment
· Follow up on the current TRSDC scholarship students and oversee their academic and professional progress throughout their learning journey
· Provide ongoing student support that is sensitive to the social and cultural issues that may involve with an international tourism and hospitality project located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; educate staff and students to recognize, respect, accept, and appreciate individual rights and differences in people and ideas
· Support in implementing engagement programs for TRSDC scholarship students to involve them with the industry and project and help them network with the pros and experts in the industry
· Collect data, evaluate, assess, analyze, and provide timely reports and/or prepare professional presentations on functional areas as required; actively promote initiatives and achievements of education programs and projects.
· Other duties within the range of skills normally associated with this type of position, as required
Requirements, Experience & Skillsets
- 3 years of experience in the field
- bachelor's degree in education or appropriate field
- Ability to work collaboratively across all TRSDC divisions and throughout the community
- Ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility regarding work schedule, including outstanding time management skills
- Strong English communication skills in speaking, writing, listening and presenting
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Good negotiator with a sense of diplomacy, tact, and helpfulness
