Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy Formulation

§ Assist in the Division’s strategic objectives and KPIs in line with the company's overall business Strategy, ensuring all employees are working towards the achievement of these objectives.

 

Assistant Marketing Manager Activities

  • Share effective new ideas and innovative strategies for product development, marketing, branding, or business opportunities, in order to increase Company’s Market Share.
  • Assist in delivering business innovation and growth to the company through business development, financial diversification, and partnerships.
  • Involve in the development of Projects that may consist of a variety of innovation challenges including brand-led innovation, new business creation, new products, and strategic development.
  • Monitor research and development of Competitors, in order to spot trends in innovation, ensuring Company’s compliance with new and trendy developments within the Industry.
  • Evaluate the progress of innovation and adjust the pace or direction of new projects in accordance.
  • Ensure all new projects are in line with the company’s mission and consistent with the company's message and brand.
  • Involve within the marketing process within the company, by cultivating and fostering an Innovative culture that encourages a creative thinking within the Pharmacies Division’s Team.
  • Assist product development teams to transform general ideas into workable solutions, complying with current and potential Customer needs.
  • Develop and drive achievement of Marketing Division performance indicators to support the company's strategic plan.
  • Provide input and guidance to assist in developing the content of the company's conference events.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and teams, ensuring successful project evaluations and implementations.
  • Ensure to Develop and document tasks, timelines and milestones, facilitating group meetings and documenting group findings within the Division.
  • Involve in conducting strategic analysis and develop clear and quantifiable goals and objectives for the company's development.
  • Ensure to conduct market and competitor assessments, while validating market opportunities, size and potential.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

 

  Continuous Improvement

§ Manage and oversee inputs and recommended continuous improvement of the company's creative practices, considering ‘international best practice’, changes in the market and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in accordance with Kuwait’s rules and regulations.

 

People Management

§ Ensure training needs of employees are identified and recommend relevant training initiatives which will assist in building a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce.

Reports

§ Establish a transparent and comprehensive management reporting mechanism on all activities and performance results of the Pharmacies Division.

 

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Marketing or related field.
  • Master’s in Pharmacy, Marketing or related field would be an advantage.

Work Experience

 § Minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience in the same or related field.

 § Knowledge and/or experience in F&B, FMCG and Pharmaceutic Industries.
